I was standing at the start of the path which leads to the next village. It's where we often walk our dog, so it's a place I know well. You can see a good chunk of my favorite 5k walk, the main road and surrounding fields. I could just see a tractor making the first hay cut on a distant field. Nothing all that exciting was happening, except the reminders of how dependable the seasons changing are. And there was something so comforting in that to me.
