Rachael Rector is a American born artist with a Canadian family, living in the Czech Republic. Her acrylic art explores the bright beauty of fields, flowers and forests. You can see the impact that both Czech and Canadian nature has on her style, as she brings simple nature into focus in a colourful, lively fashion. As Hans Hoffmann said, “In nature, light creates the color. In the picture, color creates the light.”
She has always had creative expression as a big part of her life, but as an adult God began to reveal and release her giftings as a visual artist. Several art shows and commissions led her to open a business teaching others the joy of painting. After selling her successful Canadian business, “Social Art”, Rachael moved to Jihlava with her family where she now brings joy to others through guiding them through their own experience on the canvas. Believing that art is meant to be enjoyed by both the viewer, and through the creative experience, RestArt is a place where even those who can’t paint...can!
